Gold River at street level
The village names are the local shorthand: Sutter Village, Gold Spike Village, Mother Lode Village and the rest, each with its own entry and its own board. Gold River Town Centre off Sunrise Boulevard handles the errands. Gold River Discovery Center K-8 on Roaring Camp Drive is the neighborhood school and sits in Folsom Cordova Unified rather than San Juan. The American River Parkway runs along the northern edge, with the Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail passing through on its way to Folsom, and the Sacramento State Aquatic Center at 1901 Hazel Avenue puts rowing shells and sailboats on Lake Natoma. Nearly all of the housing was built between 1970 and 1999, a large majority of working residents hold executive, management or professional roles, and an unusually high share work from home.
Who comes in from Gold River, and what for
Gold River sends adults who want their teeth to look intentional. Invisalign in the forties and fifties, often to fix crowding that was never treated as a teenager and is now wearing the edges down. Whitening and veneers ahead of a wedding or a retirement. Implants where a molar was lost years ago and the bite has been drifting since. The high rate of working from home helps: mid-morning appointments are easy to fill from here, which is when the drive is shortest.
Getting to Artisan Dentistry from Gold River
Drive note. Fifteen miles, and the whole thing is Highway 50. Get on westbound at Sunrise, stay on it past Watt and Power Inn, then exit into Midtown and work north to J Street and 33rd. Twenty to twenty-eight minutes outside commute hours. Westbound mornings and eastbound afternoons are the two windows worth avoiding.
Parking. Patient parking and the entrance are accessed via 33rd Street.
